Across the beach along side the Atlantic ocean in 1903 the first automobile race in the United States was held at this site. Beside the historic race track a park has restrooms, a picnic area and a dune walkover.

Bicentennial Park
Spanning across the east and west sides of the highway just outside of Daytona Beach, this park has views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Halifax River. The park has facilities that include volleyball, basketball, softball, fishing, racquetball, shuffle boards, hiking, nature trails and beaches.

Lighthouse Point Park
The 52 acre park features fishing, nature trails, swimming, picnicking and the popular Ponce de Leon Lighthouse. Visitors are welcome into the light house and up to the observation deck. There is a nominal fee per vehicle entering the park.

Oceanfront Park Daytona Beach
Oceanfront Beach is adjacent to the Atlantic ocean and, on the other side, eating and drink establishments. The beach itself has large grass areas for picnics and a lit volleyball court.
